DePuy Synthes adds spine implants with Expanding Innovations buy

DePuy Synthes announced on Thursday the acquisition of Expanding Innovations, a company that produces expandable implants for spinal surgery that do not require screws. Stereotaxis Completes Acquisition of Robocath

Stereotaxis has completed its acquisition of French surgical robotics company Robocath, with a total deal value of up to $45 million, including a $20 million upfront payment and up to $25 million in milestone payments. The two parties will integrate their robotics technologies in electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and neurointervention to drive the development of next-generation systems. Robocath's R-One+ robot is already available in Europe and China, and its next-generation system is expected to be submitted for regulatory approval in the United States and Europe within two years.

Resmed sells MatrixCare business to private equity firm for $490 million

Resmed announced on Tuesday that it has reached an agreement to sell its MatrixCare long-term care software business to private equity firm Frazier Healthcare Partners for $490 million. The deal is an all-cash transaction expected to close in the first quarter of Resmed's fiscal 2027 (ending September 2026). Following the sale, Resmed will reallocate capital and resources to focus on high-growth areas such as sleep and respiratory health devices and connected home care. MatrixCare contributed approximately $220 million in revenue and $55 million in operating profit in preliminary fiscal 2026 results.
